The Rittersaal is your ideal setting for stylish weddings and celebrations. Welcome your guests in the shade of the old trees in the castle garden or on the roof terrace above the castle courtyard. The Burghotel Staufenberg’s kitchen and service team will spoil you with creative and regional cuisine in the restaurant and banquet area. The seasonally changing menu and well-balanced wines offer something for every taste. Take a seat at our table and let us serve you food and drink in a chivalrous and varied manner.

The general house rules also apply in the restaurant area. Please ensure that you are dressed appropriately and smartly during your visit. Our hotel is pet-friendly, but pets are not allowed in the “Ritterkeller” restaurant or in the breakfast area, including the tower room and the painter’s parlor, for reasons of hygiene and to show consideration for other guests. You can dine with us à la carte from Monday to Saturday between 5:30 pm and 10:30 pm. Between 14:00 and 17:30 we offer a reduced afternoon lunch menu with selected dishes. On Sundays you can also order à la carte in our “Ritterkeller” restaurant between 5:30 pm and 10:30 pm, but also between 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm. The kitchen closes at 9:30 pm.

At the times when you can dine à la carte, you also have the option of experiencing our special menus such as the candlelight menu or one of our medieval banquets. Medieval banquets can only be booked at least one week in advance and for 6 or more people. In addition to the menus already listed, there is also the option of booking a daily 3-course selection menu. The “Burgfräulein” and “Burgherr” menus alternate on a daily basis. Please ask which of the two menus is offered on the date of your choice and which courses make up the menu. Due to preparations for the light spectacle on 10.03.2024 and 17.03.2024 as well as for the exclusive dessert course on 07.04.2024 and 14.04.2024, we cannot open the restaurant on these Sundays from 12:00 as indicated. Please note this when making reservations.
